{Bexley Graduation} Party!

We celebrated Bexley's Preschool Graduation today! This little girl loved preschool! It will be hard to not have to take our red bag to school anymore, make our monthly playdough, look forward to hearing her sweet voice sing in her concerts, and the amazing teachers we have had over the years! We are so excited for her to start Kindergarten in the fall and she can't wait either! Watch out world...she's ready to spread her wings and fly!

{Bexley's Last Preschool} Performance!

Bexley had her very last Preschool performance today! I usually tear up a little during their cute slideshow and hearing all of the sweet voices sing songs. This year, I couldn't make the tears stop! They went out with a bang! The slideshow was great and again I heard their angelic voices, but it wasn't until they sang, "How Great Thou Art" that I completely lost it. Even the teachers were crying! The kids just sang their little hearts out and it was just a moment we will never forget! What a great year!

{Strawberry Pie} Making!

Scott's mom has the BEST recipe for strawberry pie! And when I say the BEST, the pie never lasts more than a day! I am so fortunate that she has passed on the recipe to me! I read over the weekend, on Pinterest (of course), that moms need to get in front of the camera more instead of just taking the pics. Not just when it's Mother's Day, but on everyday occasions. Love the idea, but I just never think of it! So folks...I tried today! Bexley and I just had a class trip to the strawberry farm, so today I noticed we hadn't made a pie yet. We were getting all of the ingredients out, cutting the strawberries, and mixing when I thought about the post about getting in front of the camera! I set my camera on the timer and away the camera clicked! I'm so glad I did. Such a simple idea produced such sweet pics! I'm kind of liking this!!!!

{Happy Mother's} Day!

My mom came to visit us for Camden's 1st Communion a few weeks ago. I have been a little behind on blogging lately. So I actually had time today to sit down and sift through the 100 pics I had to post! I had forgotten that I took this gem while Mom and Bexley were playing on her iPad! I remember loving that my mom took time to come and visit us while she had such a busy month. I remember sitting on the couch watching them play and interact while thinking, "Wow, I am so lucky that she is able to visit us! I am so lucky that she plays with our children every minute of her visit that they are awake ~ making precious memories with them! I am just so lucky she loves them as much as we do!" Then I jumped up and grabbed my camera because I didn't want to forget this moment!  As just having lost my grandma, I know how precious these times are! I know that I cherished those last memories I was able to make with my grandmother! Scott and I are SO lucky to have the greatest moms who are amazing grandmas to our kids!I was going to flood this post with pics of my wonderful day that Scott and the kids worked so hard on, but instead I wanted to say THANK YOU to the World's Greatest Grandmas (in our eyes) Grandma Sherry, Grandma Sharon, Grandma V & Grandma H (my grandmother's) and Grandma Ruby (Scott's grandmother)! Happy Mother's Day!

{Camden's First Play} 2nd Grade

Camden was in his 1st play today. The Day The Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt was the book they did. Camden was Duncan the little boy who reads letters from the crayons as to why they are quitting! It was so cute and Camden did so well, not that I'm biased! Ha! I hope there are more plays in his future!
