{Happy Birthday, Bexley} La Farm Party!

Bexley loves to "help" while I'm cooking dinner, well actually, she wants to help with everything I'm doing. So it made sense that she wanted to have a baking party! Luckily, our favorite breakfast spot and bakery had a birthday party option. When she heard that the bakery had a party where you bake "turtle bread" and cookies ~ she was in! I'm so glad she did, because she had SO much fun and it turned out to be a very fun party...much better than another princess party, if you ask me! Here is the fun!

{Happy Birthday} Bexley! ~ at school!

Bexley had such a good start to her birthday and it was so excited it was her 1st birthday at elementary school! She has the BEST Kindergarten teacher ever! She made Bexley feel so special on her day! She gave her a crown, sash, and a large lollipop! She was so excited to be the first one in her class to celebrate a birthday AND the only one in September! What a day!

{Happy Birthday} Bexley ~ Opening Presents!

First 5 seconds of Bexley's birthday, she was running into our room to ask if she could open her presents! She is more like Scott, where as she can see her presents sitting out for days and wanting to wait until it is her actual birthday to open them ~ Scott even waits until his birthday to open cards that he gets early in the mail. (Camden and I on the other hand are secretly opening them when nobody is looking because we.just.can't.stand.the.suspense!) She ripped open her presents and then we did our birthday pancake breakfast! She had a great start to her birthday morning!

{Happy 6th Birthday} Bexley!

WOW! 6! I can't believe it! Bexley is one of the sweetest, caring, and giving kids I have ever met! She fills our hearts everyday! First, she was losing teeth, then she started Kindergarten and now she's turning 6! Time...please slow down! Happy birthday, sweet girl!

{Bexley Goes To} Kindergarten!

I can't believe the time has come for our little girl to be in Kindergarten! She is so ready and so excited to be a big kid! We feel SO lucky that we were able to get the teacher Camden had in Kindergarten (we just love her)! It also made the transition for Bexley a lot easier knowing she knew the teacher! I am going to miss my little sidekick during the day, but am so excited for all that she is going to learn! It's going to be a great year!!!

Another tradition that we do every school year are Back To School pictures! I love this, however, the kids have to be bribed to get the pictures I want! Ha! Here are our little cuties looking studious!

Every year, the night before school starts, we have a small Back To School Party! The kids love this and I love planning it! Here's to the 2015-16 school year!!!

{Camden's First 5K} Color Run!

Camden is my little runner partner and has been begging me to do a 5K with him! Our friends found a fun Color Run for us to do together! While you run, you get blasted with color packs turning you very...colorful! It was a blast and we were definitley colorful when we crossed the finish line!

{Birthday Boating} In Pinehurst

Pinehurst is kind of Scott and my go-to get away place! We have never taken the kids overnight there. It was so much fun to hang out at the pool all day and do things we don't normally do in Pinehurst. We found out about Lake Pinehurst and rented a boat! The kids loved driving it around. What a fun thing (and not something we ever do) on a birthday weekend!

{Happy 40th Birthday} Scott!

Scott celebrated his 40th birthday today! What a big birthday!!! Scott has to be in Pinehurst for the week, so we decided to go the weekend before he had to work. We have never been to Pinehurst with the kids, so it was fun to experience it with them. We hope you had the best birthday, Scott! We love you!
