We don't decorate much for St. Patrick's Day, but we do put out a little of the green stuff! Here's our home decked out for the Irish holiday!

{Catch A Leprechaun} Kit

It's almost St. Patrick's Day and we haven't even built a Leprechaun trap yet! I thought the kiddos might find this kit helpful. They had SO much fun using the disguises, that they didn't even notice the other stuff! Maybe if our leprechaun comes tonight and leaves us gold coins, it might inspire us to use our kit!

{Sledding Fun}

We finally got some snow and what made it extra fun was that it was covered in ice! The kids had a blast going down our driveway! All of the neighborhood friends came out to play and had so much fun sledding!!! I can't wait to get more snow tomorrow ~ maybe we'll get enough to build a snowman!

{Happy Valentine's Day}

We have been celebrating Valentine's Day all week long here! The kids have their Love Envelope Chairbackers where they receive a small gift every morning! We also tried something new with mini mailboxes outside of their rooms! Scott and I leave a message each night for them to see in the morning. They even left us a note one morning ~ we loved that! We love Valentine's Day around here!!!

{Laundry Room} Makeover!

I know it sounds silly, but I've always wanted one of those laundry rooms I see on Pinterest! They look like so much fun to be in while doing the laundry. Over the weekend we switched the old builder-grade laundry room into a more inviting Laundry Room! Scott already did the 1st load in our new room ~ I think even he likes the new upgrade! Ha!

{Bexley} Tooth #2 Gone!

We had such an exciting day on Sunday! We were riding home from dinner and Bexley was showing me how her wiggly tooth could almost turn around. I said, "You should just pull it out!" So. She. Did. Just like that. She was so excited! 1st she is learning sight words, then reading books and now she's losing teeth! Slow down, little girl!

{Bexley} Ice Skating!

One of our favorite things to do around Christmas is to go downtown ice skating. They have a small outdoor rink and they keep it open until MLK Day! Bexley has that Southern thing where she doesn't like to be in the cold for very long...one of the reasons she didn't go skiing. She does, however, LOVE to ice skate. She was such a good sport about watching Camden and hanging out with me the whole day while the boys snowboarded, that I took her downtown to ice skate the next day! She has improved so much from when we were in St. Louis and now wants to do it by herself! Bexley's current career choice...Ice Skater Fashion Designer!

{Snowboarding} In Boone, NC!

(I just think it's so funny that we visit Boone, North Carolina since I'm from Boone, IOWA! Anyway...getting to the post about our Snowboarding trip!)

When our friends (and neighbors) asked us to go to Boone on a Skiing Trip we were all beyond excited! We go to the mountains every Thanksgiving, but have never skied before. Scott has been on many trips (mainly out West), but the rest of us have not! Scott was all on board with teaching Camden how to snowboard! We were just able to snowboard one day, but it was enough for Camden to learn it and want to do it more...as in next month! We had a great time watching them while we drank hot cocoa at the lodge! Maybe next time Bexley and I will get to learn!

{Happy Birthday, Camden!} Turning 8!

Camden started skateboarding a few months ago and when our friends told us about Daniel Dhers Sports Complex, we had to check it out!!! It was the perfect place for Camden's birthday party! You can skateboard, bring your BMX bike, scooter or rollerblades. He had a great time with his skateboarding friends! Happy Birthday, Camden!
