{Neighbor} Holiday Gift

Thought I would craft our neighbor gift this year...wood burning.  It was fun to come up with the design and be able to see it instantly!  I hope they like it!

{Bexley's Holiday} Ballet Recital!

After seeing Bexley performance at the preschool, I was so excited to see her at ballet.  She did so great!!!  We are so proud of her!

 

 

 

{Bexley's Christmas Program} At School

We were really excited to see Bexley's Christmas Program this year.  She is really coming out of her shyness, so we couldn't wait to see if she would sing this year (normally she just stands there)!  We were so proud of her...she sang every song!  Now, she wasn't singing at the top of her lungs, but her lips were moving!  As always it was super cute and always one of my favorites about Christmas time!

The kids have loved having Elfie around the house!  Bexley jumps out of bed each morning and sprints downstairs to see where he is...and we all know when she's up because she yells, "I'm going to find Elfie!"  She's getting pretty good about finding him, too! 

Now Camden, he was exactly like that last year.  This year he talks to him and has written letters twice!  The 1st one he wrote was to Santa for Elfie to take back with him tonight!  I just loved it...so I'm going to share before it goes to the North Pole!

{Bexley The Brave} at the dentist!

Bexley had her cleaning the other day and when they came to me and said, "We would like to talk to you about a dental plan for Bexley,"  I knew it had to be good.  Part of her "dental plan" was sealants!  I was a wreck watching her be so brave in that dental chair.  Not one complaint, not one flinch...and after it was all done she mentioned to me in the car that she couldn't wait to go back!  I was in awe of her and as you can imagine...one PROUD mama!  She went through a lot...nova-cane, drilling, and sealants!...and after all that, wanted to go to ballet class after!

{Apex Historic Home Tour} 2013

This year Scott and I would try the Apex Historic Home Christmas Tour.  Every year they choose different historic homes to tour and this year we wanted to go!  The weather was yucky, but it was still fun...just the two of us!

Elfie has been laying low this week...he must be saving up for some mischievous behavior for next week!

{Christmas Card} Shoot

While in the mountains I wanted to get some pics of us for our Christmas card ~ all while picking out our tree.  I am really happy about how they turned out despite the conditions we were in!  It had changed from a blizzard (from the day before) to a nice 38 degrees and sunny, but Bexley had started saying she didn't feel good on the way there (to discover later she had a little fever).  Camden was all on board with the photo shoot, due partly because he was bribed with money to have a great attitude & a great smile (no fake ones here)!  I love our little tradition of our Thanksgiving Mountain House Excursion, getting our Christmas tree and the memories that come with it every year!
