{North Carolina Zoo} on Easter

...at least Easter weekend!  We had family in town from South Carolina for Easter and wanted to go to the zoo with them while they were here!  So...much...fun!  We always love the zoo, but it's so much better with this fun group!  Check it out!

I gave Bexley her 1st French Pedicure last night!  She always has her toes painted, but she wanted what I had!  Have to get those toes all pretty for Easter!

{Take Your Son to Work} Day!

It is Camden's Spring Break this week and Camden has been begging Scott to go to work with him!  Scott thought it would be the perfect week for it ~ so they are spending the morning together today!  Camden was so excited to leave today to go to BASF!  Oh, boy...he's going to be talking about this one for awhile!

{Coloring Easter Eggs} ...kind of

This year I really wanted to be able to color eggs with the kids.  We are always so busy around Easter that we never have taken the time to color eggs and this year we were going to do it...kind of.  I saw on Pinterest how to make Easter Colored Deviled Eggs and wanted to give it a shot!  The kids had so much fun ~ I want to do it again!  Maybe next year we'll do the real deal!

{2012} Egg Hunts!

As if having the Easter Egg Hunt Brunch Party at our house wasn't enough this weekend, we also had 2 more egg hunts to go to!  One was at BASF (Scott's work) and the other was a neighborhood wide one at the clubhouse!  Both were egg-stra fun!  Here are pics from the hunts!

{Easter Egg Hunt} Party!

We hosted a Easter Egg Hunt Brunch Party at our house with our neighbors this weekend.  It was raining so we had no choice but to have it inside!  We had a great time mingling with our neighbors, eating, and finding eggs!  Scott did such a good job hiding eggs that even I couldn't find some!  We turned our office into the 3yrs and under egg hunt and the rest of the 1st floor was open to the older kiddos!  We love, love, love our new neighbors/neighborhood and this was just one of many parties that we are going to have with them, I'm sure!

{Easter} Around the House!

We finally got the St. Patrick's Day decor down and the Easter stuff up!  I had some ideas for other stuff, but time is just getting away from me!  I can't believe Easter will be here in a few weeks!

{Top O' The Mornin' To} Ya!

We usually don't do any traditions for St. Patrick's Day at our house, although I really have always wanted to.  This year we have a little leprechaun that keeps visiting us hoping to get our gold!  We have made leprechaun traps to try and catch one ourselves, but haven't been successful yet!  He does leave us gold coins...sometimes chocolate ones!  After not catching the leprechaun with our 1st trap, Camden and Bexley came up with this one...with a little help from me!

The leprechaun has also played tricks on us such as turning our milk green, moving the furniture around and leaving a trail of toilet paper to the potty where there was green "peepee!"  Crazy leprechaun!
